Teton County Wyoming has trained professionals that are at your service (free of charge) that will come to your home and give you advice on how to better harden your home and increase the chances that it will survive a forest fire. Specifically, Teton Conservation District (TCD) offers Wildfire Risk Overviews (WRO) to landowners in Teton County, WY, at no cost. These no-obligation Overviews look at conditions of the structure, and vegetation, and make voluntary recommendations to reduce risk. A written report is provided to the landowner. This is conducted at the parcel scale.
